Step 2 – Manually Replace The D3D10Core.dll File on your PC

Another option that you can do to address this issue is to replace the file on your PC with an updated version.

  • Download the latest version of D3D10Core.dll from this website
  • Unzip the file onto your system’s hard drive
  • Go to the path c:\Windows\System32
  • Find the location of the current D3D10Core.dll file on your PC then rename it to  D3D10CoreBACKUP.dll
  • Move a copy of the updated D3D10Core.dll into the path C:\Windows\System32
  • Click Start then choose Run
  • On a blank field that will appear next, type cmd
  • You will then see a blank screen on which you should type “regsvr32 odbc32.dll”
  • Press enter to confirm
