What’s The Code 39 Error? Fixes And Cure For Code 39 Error

The Code 39 error is a common error that shows this message:

“Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)”

This error is caused by an outdated, incompatible or corrupted hardware driver on your computer, and in order to fix it, you need to be able to keep your drivers and settings updated to make your computer run as smoothly as possible.

What Causes The Code 39 Error?

The most common cause of the Windows Code 39 error is the way in which CD / DVD drivers are not properly installed. If you notice that the CD / DVD drive is not present on your computer system, and if you insert a CD into your system, you may see this error. However, there are a lot of other potential causes of the Code 39 which are all to do with various hardware drivers being incorrect, outdated or damaged.

How To Fix The Code 39 Error

Step 1 – Update The Drivers That Are Damaged

Updating the device driver will send Windows searching the Internet for the correct driver, allowing you to have a complete system running as smoothly and effectively as possible. To make sure that your device drivers are all updated, you should use the “device manager” to make sure that any damaged or corrupted drivers are dealt with in the intended way. To do this, you should load up the device manager by clicking on Start > Control Panel > Device Manger. In there, you’ll see a large list of hardware components for your PC. Click on the component that has a yellow exclamation mark by it, and then right-click and press “Update Driver” to update it. Then follow the on-screen instructions to update the driver.

Alternatively, you could also use a program called “Driver Robot” which will automatically update all the drivers on your system. This is an automated tool which will scan through your entire collection of hardware and then make any of the damaged device drivers.

Step 2 – Use A Registry Cleaner To Fix Registry Issues

One of the main causes of the Code 39 error is when the registry becomes damaged or corrupted. The registry is basically a database which stores information and software about your computer, and is where Windows keeps everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper. However, it’s also the main center of information about your hardware, and where your drivers are located which enables your computer to utilize all your hardware to its maximum potential. Unfortunately, the registry is constantly becoming damaged and corrupted, making your computer unable to read the settings it needs to run, which is one of the main causes of the┬áCode 39 error.
