Windows Error 43 is a problem that’s caused by your PC being unable to correctly process the important options which it requires to run a piece of hadware. This tutorial is going to show you how to fix the Windows Error 43 problem on your system.

What Causes Windows Error 43?

This error will show in this format:

The error is going to be caused by the hardware of your system being unable to be processed correctly. We’ve found the biggest cause of this error will actually be outdated drivers, but other problems such as your PC having a number of errors with its “registry” are also a large cause of the problem. If you want to be able to fix the errors you’re experiencing, it’s recommended that you’re able to clean out any of the possible issues the hardware may have on your system.

How To Fix Windows Error 43

Step 1 – Update The Drivers For The Device

The drivers of the device are going to be the main culprit in this issue, and so it’s highly recommended that you’re able to clean out the various problems that your system will have with its drivers in order to ensure it’s working correctly. Here’s how:

  • Click “Start”
  • Right-Click “My Computer” & Select “Properties”
  • Select Device Manager
  • Locate the hardware causing a problem
  • Right-Click the hardware
  • Select “Update Driver”

An Easier Way To Do This

The Driver Finder program will automatically update all the drivers that you may have on your PC, and will resolve the damaged driver for the code 43 error. We recommend this tool for users who want to fix the various problems they have with the Code 43 error. You can download a free Driver Finder trial scan here.

Step 2 – Disconnect & Reconnect The Hardware

If you’re experienced with PCs, you should be able to re-connect the hardware to make sure that there are no problems with the cable / lead. To do this, you should open up your system, locate the particular piece of hardware which is causing problems and then remove it by removing the cable. After this, you should re-connect the hardware to make sure it’s all working again.

NOTE: You must do this when your PC is switched off :)

Step 3 – Clean Out The Registry

The registry is one of the biggest causes of errors on Windows, and is one of the likely causes of the 43 error. If you try the above steps, and find that the error still appears, we recommend you use a registry cleaner to fix this part of your PC. The registry is basically a stored database which keeps all the files, settings & options which Windows uses to run. We’ve found that although the registry is one of the most important parts of the Windows system, using a registry cleaner can actually resolve 99% of the errors your system may have.

We recommend using a program called RegAce System Suite to clean out any of the problems that your system may have. You can download this tool from the Internet, and then let it scan through the various problems that your system may have, allowing it to run much smoother as a result.
