Steps To Resolve Runtime Error 1004

Runtime Error 1004 may appear on your computer when you try to copy and paste filtered data into a Microsoft Excel 2003 workbook. The error message you receive may look something like either one of the following:

“Runtime error 1004: Paste method of worksheet class failed.”

or you may also receive this error message:

“Runtime error 1004: Copy method of Range Class Failed.”

However you may still receive the error message even though the data is pasted into the workbook.

When you try and print a document with a HP printer you may receive the error 49 code. This is usually caused by a communications failure between the printer and the computer, or related file errors. How To Fix The Cmicnfg.Cpl Error

The Cmicnfg.Cpl is a Windows Control Panel file, which is used to load the various configurations of Windows after a crash. The error that this file causes are triggered when you install a C-Media WDM Audio Driver update on your computer, and this update may cause the audio to stop playing. The update my not remove all of the old files and its past registry entries, causing the new CMedia program to be unable to load properly. When you restart your computer and it tries to load the Cmincfg.Cpl file, and it shows up with the error because you have already carried out the uninstall.

Steps To Resolve Runtime Error 429

When using your computer and you try to automate Microsoft Office applications with Visual Basic macros, you may receive the following error message:

“Run-time error ‘429′: ActiveX component can’t create object”

This happens when the Windows ‘COM’ cannot create the requested Automation object, and the Automation object is therefore unavailable to Visual Basic. However this error does not appear on all computers.

The Microsoft Office applications are automated using an automated server system, this is generally based on the Windows COM architecture. The COM, or Component Object Model architecture, is a binary-interface standard for software componentry.
