How To Resolve The 0x0000000 Error On Your PC

The “0x0000000” error is caused when your system cannot compute the settings or options it requires to run. Typically restarting your PC and showing a blue screen, the issue is that your computer simply cannot run correctly. If you are seeing this error, you need to resolve any of the problems which may be causing it – problems including the likes of software & hardware issues. Here’s what you need to do:

What Causes The 0x0000000 Error?

  • Hardware incompatibility
  • Software errors / problems
  • Windows settings errors
  • Your PC not being up to date

This error does not have any specific cause – it’s just defined as a “general” system problem. This basically means that your PC will either be unable to process the files it requires or will just not have the capacity to run correctly any more. To resolve the issue, you should look to first fix any potential problems with the hardware of your system, and then repair any corrupted software.

How To Fix The 0x0000000 Error

Step 1 – Remove Any Recently Added Software / Hardware

The most common reason for this error to show is because you will have just installed a new piece of software or hardware, which will be somehow conflicting with your current system setup. The first step to resolving the error is to remove any new hardware or software you’ve added to your PC. If this doesn’t work, then you should move onto Step 2:

Step 2 – Start In “Safe Mode”

“Safe Mode” is a special setting that Microsoft coded into Windows to help load up your PC without any of the drivers or software that could be causing problems for your PC. By starting in safe mode, you’ll be able to determine whether your computer has issues with its software or hardware, allowing you to better repair the specific error your computer has. Here’s what you should do:

  • Restart Your PC
  • Press F8 Before Windows Has A Chance to Load
  • On The “Boot Menu” That Appears, Select “SAFE MODE”
  • When Your PC Loads, Use It As Normally As Possible

This will load up your PC without any of the software which could be causing a problem, meaning that if it’s continually showing the error, it’s going to be a hardware error and should be taken to a computer repair specialist to fix. If the error does not appear in safe mode, you should move onto Step 3:

Step 3 – Clean Out The Registry Of Your PC

The “registry” of your PC is a huge database which stores all the settings and options that your computer requires to run. Although this part of your computer is one of the most important, it’s continually causing a huge number of errors & problems thanks to the way in which your system will continually corrupt it. If you’re seeing the 0x0000000 error on your system, it’s likely that there is a some sort of problem with the settings inside the registry of your system. You can fix this by downloading a registry cleaner, installing it and then letting it fix any of the problems that your computer may have inside.
