How to Fix iOS 7 Errors

While these errors are indeed impossible to fix without Apple’s help, there are lots of other things users are not happy about that are possible to put right or at least make a bit better. Here is how you can fix iOS 7 errors quickly and easily.

Not Enough Memory

One of the most annoying iOS 7 error is lack of space. The upgrade is huge (3.1GB) and a lot of iPhone users simply didn’t have enough memory to install it. Unfortunately, the only way to fix this problem is to free up some space on your iPhone or iPad. This doesn’t mean that you have to delete everything, though. First of all, download DropShots for iOS and upload all your photos to the cloud. It’s absolutely free. Then you can delete them from your device. This will recover an enormous amount of space. And if you are still low on memory, go through your apps and decide which you haven’t used for ages. Get rid of them and you’ll have enough memory to install iOS 7.

Decreased Battery Life

Numerous users who managed to upgrade to iOS 7 reported that their battery life decreased since the upgrade. Luckily, it’s easy to fix iOS 7 errors that are battery-related. All you need to do is turn off the “Background App Refresh” option to prevent your apps from refreshing and draining your battery.

To do this, go to SettingsGeneralBackground App Refresh and turn the feature off.

Problems with Mail

Another common iOS 7 error is an error with Mailbox and GMail. A lot of users complain that the new iOS reset their mailboxes. While there is not 100% working fix for GMail, Mailbox problems can be fixed by simply restarting your device.

iOS 7 Sync Problems

Failing to sync with iOS 7 is another common problem encountered by iPhone and iPad users after the upgrade. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to fix iOS 7 errors when syncing because these errors are related to Apple’s server load. There are simply too many people trying to upgrade. The only thing you can do is wait for a while and try again.
